Hi. I just bought my first Disco 5. It is a 2019 model. I have been trying to update the software of the car but my version doesn't have the SIM slot so there's no internet connection. Is there any way I can connect my car to the Internet via another methods?

Congrats on the new Disco 5! For internet, you could try using a mobile hotspot or just tether your phone to the car via Wi-Fi, which worked for me when I had a similar setup. As for Apple CarPlay, it should definitely work on the 2019 model, but sometimes it needs to be activated through the settings. You’ll also need to plug your phone in with a USB cable for the connection, since it might not be wireless on that year. If it’s still not connecting, a quick software update could do the trick or you could double-check the manual for any settings you might’ve missed.
