Heated windscreen
I have a 2017 Discovery 5. The heated windscreen has stopped working. The light on the switch on the dash come on but that’s all. I have looked for the fuse but can’t se it listed anywhere in the fuse boxes. Does it have a fuse and if so where is it located?
The Haynes Autofix guide states that the following fuses are in the engine compartment fuse box for the heated windscreen:
Fuse 64 - heated windscreen right hand side
Fuse 65 - heated windscreen left hand side
Relay 15 - heated windscreen right hand side
Relay 12 - heated windscreen left hand side
Fuse 64 - heated windscreen right hand side
Fuse 65 - heated windscreen left hand side
Relay 15 - heated windscreen right hand side
Relay 12 - heated windscreen left hand side
Having looked at my 2017 fuse box, I can confirm that the fuses do not go up to 64 and 65.
This is a picture of the engine compartment fuse box. It appears that the fuses for the windscreen are FL3 and FL8
It doesn't state which relays are for the heated screen.

In my case, the two fuses were both fine. I can hear a relay click when I turn the windscreen off. There is also a noticeable load on the alternator when it is turned on.
The wiring for the heated windscreen is in the A pillars. The positive is at the bottom and the negative is at the top.
A continuity test between the two ends seems OK. When I turn the power on, I can see voltage on the +ve on both sides. My conclusion is that the heated elements have burnt out and I need a new windscreen.
