Hi All,

I am struggling with an issue with my 2019 2.0L diesel. A bit of background;
I had the intercooler replaced under warranty shortly after getting the car - no major issues since then until this year….

•First battery replaced early in the year by local garage as it went flat (since found out car supposedly wasn’t told it had a new battery)
•Within a week of regular driving battery went flat again - roadside assist replaced battery (again not updated for certain)
•Took back to local garage who told me ground stud recall hadn’t been done and they did it and again replaced battery.
• About 4 months later battery flat again. Jump started and driven, flat again. Different garage replaced battery and tells car this time it has a new battery. I was told it may throw a few weird lights up while it relearnt itself after the battery reset.
• Each time the battery was killed it was showing a dead cell even after trying to recharge it on a battery charger.

Now for the even worse part;

• about 5 days after the last battery replacement and reset the car went into limp mode. I was driving in town so pulled over, tried locking and unlocking etc. still in limp mode. Roadside assist came and tried clearing the codes and running again. Back into limp mode so was towed.
• the battery is completely draining again to flat within a couple of days.
• car starts but after about 15-30 seconds stalls. Almost like a fuel starvation stall.
• they can’t get it to show codes in the reader.
• my app shows DPF needing to be burnt off (strange as I do a lot of highway kms. But when the car goes through start up it shows green and says it is completed.

I am beyond frustrated and upset to not have my car. 😞

Does anyone have any ideas. I’m leaning towards some weird electrical issue given all the battery issues! But could it be a blocked fuel filter?? Or is it thinking it’s out of AdBlue? Could all the battery issues messed with the electronics. Could it still be a battery/cable/fuse issue?

Can you do a factory hard reset of the electronics?

Any ideas or similar experiences greatly appreciated as I think it could be a weird mix of issues.
