How on earth do I get a 29 er medium mountain bike in the Discovery 5 when the boot is taken up by a dog! No tow bar to use also.

I have the official Cross Bars and when trying to fit I can't for the life of me fit them, watched videos, looked at official manual online, just can't do it! I get the pin in the hole and tighten top bit but it's the front bit and the levers to pull down and pull out etc, I can't get the bolt showi...

With those detachable ones do you need anything else to use them like a frame fitted or do you just use the end bit and it attaches to something in the car already there underneath?

How much to add tow bar to Discovery 5 thanks?

OK I have the roof rails on and the official cross bars to go on but my question is how do I know where to fix the cross bars distance apart etc so they fit the roof box that will go on it? Can the cross bars go anywhere on the roof rails or do they have to be a certain distance apart?

Hi all hope your all ok. I have a Disco 5 2017/18 with roof rails and need cross bars to borrow a friends roof box. It's a Halford brand. Where can I get cheaper cross bars as the ones from Landrover direct are very expensive, thanks.
