Is there a recommendation for any cooling system preventive maintenance in the JLR 2 liter 4 cyl turbo? My wife has a 2017 with 38,000 miles. US version if that matters.

For the JLR 2.0L turbo, I’d definitely recommend keeping an eye on the coolant levels and making sure the fluid still looks clean. At 38,000 miles, it’s not a bad idea to do a coolant flush if it hasn't been done yet, and check the hoses for any cracks or wear. I’ve had issues with hoses getting brittle on older cars, so it’s worth a quick check. Also, if you’re doing any work around the cooling system, it wouldn’t hurt to take a look at the water pump, especially since it’s important for the overall cooling. Just make sure to use the recommended coolant, and if you’re unsure about anything, a trip to a good mechanic should do the trick.
