Twice I have been refuelling my V6 2018 Discovery with 93k miles on the clock and when I press the start button I hear a faint click of a relay but nothing else.
I can lock the car but the hazard lights will not switch on either.
After a few minutes of attempts the tft screen will illuminate, the two dials flick over to max and return to zero and extinguish . The centre screen does not work at this point. A while later the centre screen will illuminate on my attempts and finally the engine will start.
The key has a good battery and when it starts the engine turns over at the normal speed.
It then performs perfectly normally until presumably the next time! The problem is that it is entirely random the only common denominator so far is at a fuel station.
There is nothing shows up on my diagnostic as a fault.
Very annoying when at a fuel station with vehicles waiting in line behind me as can be imagined.
