Spare wheel theft

Hi. I too have been a victim. However, my dealership has not mentioned a fix. My disco was fitted with the anti-theft device from new. Can anyone point me to the fix please? I can see no mention of it on the JLR web site. Thanks.

The MY2017 wasn't fitted with any protection device so I personally fitted a 3rd party protection plate. LR then produced a similar protection plate but not considered quite as good which was fitted at the 1st or 2nd service. I stuck with the 3rd party one. See above link.

I had my spare stolen from a cut winch earlier this year. I paid to have a new alloy, tyre and winch fitted, with the security plate by a main dealer. I've just discovered that the replacement winch is cut and the wheel gone. I have contacted the dealer to complain. I will update.

Through the dealer, Land Rover have agreed to replace in full. Thought I'd have a bit of a fight on my hands, but fair play to them!
