Hi Amellia, any update available on the fuel in oil dilution issue as it affects 3.0L diesel engines?
Thanks

Good afternoon,HSEMY18 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2017 7:15 pm Hi Amelia,
Thanks for getting back to me, however as I am new to this forum - I am unable to send PM, as I have not participated / posted enough on the forum (apparently ).
Anyway the x2 packs I am referring to are:
1. Climate comfort pack
2. Technology plus pack
Both packs come with the Solar attenuating windscreen, the windscreen when purchased separately costs £215 - so in essence I am paying for the windscreen x2. I am happy to use the £215 on other options if a credit is provided.
Look forward to working with you on this matter and come to a resolution.
Thank you for your patience.
I can confirm that Land Rover would hope there was no overlap.
Climate Comfort Pack is £615. This consists of the cooler compartment £240 and Four-zone climate control £640 in addition to the Solar attenuating windscreen.
As shown, it is still cheaper to purchase the pack as opposed to ordering the separate remaining options in this case.
Thanks,
Amellia
Hi Amelia,
I have the Intelligent Seat Fold option on my Discovery HSE and the Remote App works OK to tell me if the car is locked, location etc.
However on the screen that shows the rear seat positions the diagram is greyed out and a message at the bottom says " Seat positions unknown".
Is this a bug with the App or the car?
Cheers
Jim

Hi Amelia
We have noticed several members have experienced problems with the deployable towbar snappjng off. As we have one fitted to our Discovery 5 we are very concerned as we tow a caravan. Will Land Rover be recalling Discovery 5's for a safety check, our towbar was factory fitted.
Thanks.
Sheila

Thank you for your message.
I can confirm that should anyone have experienced this, that their retailer should raise a Quality Report and submit this feedback to Land Rover via the appropriate channels.
From there, data can be reviewed to determine if any further action is required however at this point I would be unable to advise further.
Thanks,
Amellia
Hi Amelia
I agree it would be useful to get a report on the towbar if you think there may be a ptoblem but it would be a little bit late if your caravan
goes careering down the road leaving your vehicle, rather a nasty experience.
What I would like to know is there a problem and will LR recall vehicles with the deployable towbar even if only to check they are OK.
The members that have had problems say the towbar did appear to be working correctly.
Await your comments
Thanks

Collected Disco 5 1Mar Used deployable towbar on Sunday, now it will not stow away or lock. Dealer cannot see it till 1st May. Land Rover Assistance cannot help. Red triangle warning light on plus make sure locked before driving. Apparently Assistance could only come and look and say take to Dealer.. so how critical is the red warning triangle. So now cannot tow my trailer to Scotland next Sunday. Have doubts about safety of vehicle..if the towbar drops off am I liable for any accidents and injuries to others? Also read earlier reports of bars snapping off which really worries me. A laden Ifor Williams on the loose would be horrific.. So £67000vehicle rendered impotent till at leasts 1st May and then how long to get the parts. Very sad as I am a retired LR employee and this is very poor
I’m struggling to login to the Live Apps.
I’m ok on Incontrol but when I go to the Live part, either through the browser or by logging in to the car it simply won’t connect.
My user name and password are ok as evidenced by the attached screenshot.
Any body have any ideas please?
