Re: Leak from Windscreen and Electrical Fault
Yes, had a leak on top right of windscreen - water pouring in, soaked the roof lining, dash, seats, filled the cup holders! Fortunately, didn’t damage the electrics. This was on my Disco5 HSE, bought new March 2017, leak occurred June 2019. Went into local dealers who couldn’t replicate the leak, bu...

Re: Windscreen whistle
This seems to be a known fault with the Discovery 5. My March 2017 HSE began leaking round the top of the windscreen in June 2019. It went into the dealers to be tested, but they couldn’t replicate the fault. However, Landrover Jaguar authorised the screen to be taken out and resealed. It’s been fin...

Re: Interested to know order, build and expected delivery dates?
Got to agree. I had the factory mats, but wanted some spares (& one I could put under the pedals) so ordered an 'accessory set). The factory supplied ones were a very thin pile, the 'accessory' ones were a thick, rich pile and also had 'Landrover' emblazoned on them. Much classier!

Re: Climate control issue
Hi All, my 3.0l HSE Lux developed the exact same fault a couple of weeks ago. We got the handbook out and fiddled with the settings to no avail. On a warm day, the last thing you want is warm air being pumped out. Only the drivers side misbehaved, which was odd. We turned the vents off for a few day...

Re: Rubber mats
I thought that rubber mats and the carpets were both optional extras. The carpets were about 200 quid, bit have bought a set of authentic Discovery 5 from a Landrover Specialist on eBay. Brand new and half the price. They have black or espresso.

Re: Faulty boot opening
Yes, v2cjpp, all sorted now. Worked OK for the first few day, then no matter which button/key I used, it just made a slight clicking noise, moved maybe 2-3 mm and stopped. If I got my fingers under the bottom of it, I could pull it open, but of course no assistance from the gas struts so very stiff....

Faulty boot opening
Hello All. Just wondered if anyone else had had problems with the powered boot opening? Had to take my HSE back to the dealers in the first week - the technician said it was a problem with the rear panels not being riveted perfectly flat which caused a ripple in the rubber seal. Also feel a bit of a...

Re: Got mine and a few pointers!
Hmmmmm. Picked ours up 2nd March and have got to agree, the gesture control for the boot opening was very erratic. Now the powered boot has given up the ghost altogether, just a bit of 'whirring' going on. Back to the dealers, methinks.

Fabulous, is that Corris Grey, or maybe Waitomo? Black wheels icing on the cake.

Re: Tow bar
Picked up my 3.0l HSE on 2nd March from Chelmsford with factory fitted electric tow bar. Great bit of kit!
